Academic Curriculum

Eaglebrook学校 has earned a reputation as an innovator in middle school curriculum. 的 school year is divided into three academic trimesters with seven 类 that meet Monday through Friday in a rotating schedule of six periods. Boys are assigned to the appropriate 英语 and mathematics 类. In world languages, history, and science, students have some choices. 的 艺术部门, academic departments, Athletic 部门, and individual teachers offer elective courses that meet each trimester. 的se chosen electives give boys an opportunity to design part of their own course of study.

的 years when boys are in the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grades are years of tremendous growth. Not only is there 物理 growth, but in 类 and sports, these middle school students grow in their ability to discover new knowledge and develop new skills. Boys who attend Eaglebrook学校 during their middle school years also learn responsibility and build their self-confidence as they must be on time for meals, 组装, 类, 和宿舍研究. 的y must be prepared for 类 and on the playing field for team practice with all of their equipment.
